Mrs. LaRhonda
Hi! I'm Mrs. LaRhonda and I have been teaching young learners for 19 years.
As an early childcare educator, I enjoy working with young learners and preparing them for success in the classroom. I believe that the early years in a child's life are critical in a child's development and every moment is considered a teaching moment.
I provide a strong academic foundation that empowers children to thrive. Driven by a passion for teaching, I create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. I believe consistency is the key and it's what delivers measurable results year after year.
As a private preschool owner in the community, I strive to offer parents a place that not only ensures their child's safety but also serves as a cornerstone in their academic journey.
Outside of the classroom I love to travel, decorate and spend time with my adult children.

Our small classes of just 6 children per session allows your child to be comfortable and grow valuable friendships with the other preschoolers and teacher. Because conflict-resolution skills are super vital to learn at this age, we help your child work through their problems with other children. Your child will receive individualized instruction based on our comprehensive assessments and curriculum. #7: Monthly Events!
At our preschool, children don't just learn -they grow through play, connection and hands-on discovery. We offer immersive, interactive experiences. We have hosted a Art Show, Zoo-per fun day, participated in Read Across America Week, Spring and Fall pictures (cost associated), Basketball shoot-out, Water Day, Back to School fun day, Spirit Week, Fall festival, Friendsgiving social, and a camping themed picnic.

Each school year, your child will receive a special t-shirt to wear on Spirit Days. In addition, your child will receive free themed t-shirts depending on the occasion. These shirts help us celebrate and build excitement throughout the year.
#9: We help you preserve memories!
We love capturing special moments as our little ones grow and learn! To help preserve these memories, we schedule two themed picture days each year. Spring and Fall Holiday picture day. Each photo session features a unique theme, making these memories fun and meaningful. Please note there is an additional cost associated with picture day.

We close the school year with food, fun and great memories. Bring the whole family as we celebrate your child's amazing accomplishments throughout the year.

When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?
We have a 10-month school year (Aug.-May) and a 2-month summer camp (June-July). If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. Please call us to see if we have any spots available.
How old does my child need to be to attend?
Preschool classes are for children who are ages 3-5 (and "independent almost-3-year-olds") by Sep. 1. Summer camp is for children who are ages 3-8 by June 1.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes. If you have any questions about whether or not your child is ready, feel free to give us a call. We even have a “How To Potty Train” your child handout we can give you. It’s helped many preschool moms quickly potty train their kids. We’re here to help!
What is your teaching philosophy?
We follow a “whole child” philosophy where we work with you to improve your child’s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. Our curriculum is based on the NAEYC guidelines and features a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities to accomplish these goals. We also incorporate Fundamentals Preschool Curriculum. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for Kindergarten!
Are there additional fees during the year?
No. Your registration fee covers all your child’s supplies and reserves a spot in our program. Your child won’t pay anything to attend our field trips and activities. And your family can come for free too! Your child will also receive at no extra cost: a preschool shirt to wear on Spirit Day and a graduation portfolio!
What if my child has food restrictions?
No worries. Several of our students have food intolerances or severe allergies. We ask these families to bring in their own snacks, and we create nut-free classrooms any time a child’s allergy is severe enough to require an epi pen.
Is the registration fee refundable?
No.
How many students do you have per class?
We have the smallest class sizes in town so your child gets lots of 1-on-1 time. We only have 10 students per class.
